Coronation Street spoilers: Abi Franklin tempted back to drugs as she loses kids for good?
Abi Franklin (played by Sally Carmen) could be tempted back to drugs tonight on Coronation Street, as the mechanic fears that she could have lost her young twins for good.
In tonight’s first visit to the ITV soap, Abi had gained unsupervised contact of her young twins for their birthday, having recently got her life back on track to prove she can care for them.
Wanting to make their visit special, Abi had ordered birthday presents for the twins. However, the parcels had no arrived.
While she had the twins, the task was put on Steve McDonald (Simon Gregson) to pick up the parcels from the dispatch centre.
In the mean time, Abi tried to preoccupy her children by playing a game of hide and seek, but things soon took a sinister turn.
Having found her daughter, Abi suddenly realised her son, Charlie, was nowhere to be seen and frantically began looking for the youngster.
Screaming out his name, the mother-of-three began to panic that she had lost the boy for good. However, he was eventually found down the cobbles back allies.
Relief soon turned to upset, when Abi rang the kids case worker to come and take them back to their foster family.
Later, she arrived at The Rovers to drown her sorrows, fearing she’d lost the twins for good. But could she be about to go one step further?
Fans of the soap took to twitter to share their pain for Abi and hoped that she wouldn’t be tempted back to drugs.
One fan said: “I don’t think Abi will do any drugs…She maybe low at the moment, but I have a feeling she doesn’t want to mess everything up in her life…I also think Abi may act out that she’s given up ever getting her children back. Just my opinion #Corrie #Abi.”
Will someone find her before it’s too late?
Coronation Street continues at 8:30pm on ITV.
