Star Wars 9: Could Luke return ALIVE? Proof in THIS scene with Obi-Wan and the EMPEROR
How could they kill Luke Skywalker?
Among the many issues a large part of the fandom had with The Last Jedi, Luke’s underwhelming and premature death was one of the biggest. In fact, many of those who liked the film also felt the same way.
Production has just started on the final film in the epic three-trilogy saga.
There are already new reports that Mark Hamill will be shooting scenes with two of the main stars, but will he be alive or dead?
JJ Abrams is said to be committed to bringing in as much prequel and original trilogy material as possible.
Not many people know that George Lucas had already explored the concept of how a Jedi could come back from the dead.
Incredible excerpts from an origial script for The Last Jedi reveal that Obi-Wan AND the Emperor both knew of a way to cross back completely into the living world.

The Last Jedi original script:
THE EMPEROR: “At last you appear before me Obi-Wan.”
OBI-WAN: “The boy has many allies. He is stronger than you imagine.”
THE EMPEROR: “Allies? If they are all as you, I have no concern, for the netherworld has no control over me. And if you return to this dimension, I will easily defeat you.”
OBI-WAN: There is no entrance to the netherworld through the Dark Side. You know very little of its powers.”
This establishes that the original concepts saw a way to travel between dimensions.
It links in with another dropped scene which saw Obi-Wan physically return and hug Luke Skywalker at the Ewok celebration.
He was also accompanied by the redeemed Anakin.
Star Wars commentator Mike Zeroh adds: “We do know that Disney and Lucasfilm are cherry picking from a lot of (Star Wars) Extended Universe material and tossed ideas from previous movies and books and comics and using that as future pieces for their Star Wars movies.
“So I wouldn’t be surprised if they were to jump into the early script of Return of the Jedi and use this concept to bring Luke back to life.”
