Ultimate Sky TV and Sky Sports deal will save you over £340 off your bill
Sky TV is offering the ultimate deal for new and existing customers.
The satellite TV company has just released a new offer which slashes the price of its Sports and Entertainment bundle by a whopping £19 per month.
This means you can watch all the latest Premier League, Golf, Cricket and Formula One action in full HD for £40 per month – usually £59 per month.
Along with all the big sporting events the bundle also includes Sky Entertainment with channels such as Sky Atlantic, MTV, Eurosport and Discovery all featured.
The total saving over the 18-month deal is £342 and you can find full details here.
It’s worth noting that there is a one-off fee to pay and you will need to sign up to a new contract to take advantage of the deal.
If taking out a new Sky package isn’t something that appeals to you there is another way to get Sky Sports at a discounted price.
Sports fans can pay a one-off fee of £179 which allows them to tune in for 10-months.
This Sports pass would usually cost over £300 so there’s quite a saving to be made.
Once the 10-months has ended there’s no contract so the service can then be cancelled at any time.
NOW TV is available on many smart TVs, tablets and smartphones or you can watch the service via a supported set-top box and streaming devices.
This latest price cut comes as Sky has just announced some big changes coming to the service.
Customers will soon get more 4K content and the introduction of High Dynamic Range.
Improved personalisation with the addition of individual profiles and a new kids mode that will stop the younger members of the family accessing inappropriate content are also inbound.
However, perhaps the most radical news to come from Sky is the development of a new technology which could see the end of the remote control.
The upgrade was revealed in Sky’s financial statement last week with the firm divulging a hands-free TV experience could arrive before the end of the year.
Sky’s new Q service already features voice-powered search which, with over 10 million requests a month, is clearly a popular addition.
But it seems this is now being taken to a new level with a plan to make the living room a totally hands-free area.
Sky has even teased the feature with an advert showing a woman searching for her remote – the tagline reads “You can’t lose your voice under the sofa.”
There’s no official launch date for this new service but Sky says it plans to trial it later this year.
