Hotshot lawyer Imran Habeeb (played by Charlie De Melo) is set to date not one, but two Coronation Street residents in the coming weeks.
Having recently lost his father, Hassan Habeeb (Kriss Dosanjh), Imran is looking for a way to distract himself.
Recently, viewers saw Imran and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) get up close and personal after his father’s passing.
However, it seems the night of passion won’t be a one night stand with Imran deciding to pursue things further.
Leanne isn’t the only Weatherfield resident the lawyer has his eye on, as it has been revealed Imran will also get steamy with Leanne’s sister, Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor).
“They both don’t know and he knows this, so is quite happy with how things are going and doesn’t do anything about it,” a Corrie insider explained in an interview with The Sun.
“His ego goes through the roof and he’s really enjoying the attention and he thinks he’s living the dream having two women on the go,” the source added.
Viewers of the ITV soap will have seen Imran give Leanne the brush off after their night of passion, admitting to the mother of two he wanted a distraction from his father’s death.
However, with his ex-wife Sabeen Habeeb (Avita Jay) demanding money from the lawyer after his father’s funeral, Leanne stepped in pretending to be Imran’s PA and told his ex she would need an appointment if she wanted to speak to him.
Having had her fair share of trouble with men, Leanne may be hoping something more will come from her spark with Imran.
However, it’s likely the Weatherfield resident will be wanting blood when she finds out the lawyer is doing the dirty with her own sister.
Toyah has also been through the mill recently regarding relationships, having parted ways with Peter Barlow (Chris Gascoyne).
The former landlady of The Rovers Return was left heartbroken when Peter left her, following her deception regarding baby Susie.
Having struck a deal with a pregnant Eva Price (Catherine Tyldesley) to raise the child as her own, Toyah had to admit the truth when she discovered Eva wanted the chance to be a mother.
Since their split, Peter has been getting closer to ex-flame Carla Connor (Alison King) which hasn’t gone unnoticed by Toyah.
Feeling hurt and alone, Toyah may be wanting to distract herself and move on from her relationship with the former landlord.
If things heat up with Imran, Toyah may break the sister code and turn for affections to her sister’s lover.
However, love triangles in soap land are always exposed in the end and Imran won’t want to be on the target of the Batterby sister’s wrath.
“You don’t want to mess with a Battersby and no doubt it’ll come crashing down for him,” the Corrie insider added.
How long will the lawyer be able to keep up the pace before he is found out?
Coronation Street airs Monday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s at 7:30pm and 8:30pm on ITV.
