A funny video of a tourist feeding a giraffe has gone viral on the internet.
The video footage, taken in a zoo at an unknown location, takes a surprising turn.
The female holidaymaker is casually dressed for a hot climate wearing a black T-shirt and denim shorts.
She stands in front of a tall giraffe which is separated from her by a wire fence.
Nonetheless, the giraffe, with its extra tall neck, is able to reach over the fence.
The tourist holds a scrap of food for the giraffe in her hand, reaching her arm up high.
The giraffe sees the food and advances towards the tourist from across the fence.
Predictably, the giraffe bends down to take the piece of food from the tourist’s hand.
However, this is when the situation takes a turn the tourist is not expecting.
The creature leans further forward to lick the tourist’s face with its incredibly long tongue.
The tourist moves her head back, laughing and smiling at the person behind the camera.
The giraffe then reaches forward multiple times to try and lick the tourist again.
However, the now-savvy woman knowns to move away quickly before it can.
This isn’t the only tourist video to go viral on the internet recently.
Last month, a viral video captured the alarming moment a drunk passenger had to be tied up and strapped to his chair after a huge row with his partner resulted in a flight from Bali to Perth being diverted.
Police have said the French couple – a 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman – were drunk when they began arguing on the flight on Monday night.
Shocking footage captured the moment seven passengers had to restrain the man after the dispute grew heated.
The tourist’s wrists, feet and legs were tied and he was strapped to a chair in a bid to prevent him from causing any harm.
The argument between the couple had started out “jovially” but soon escalated, eyewitnesses said.
“They were completely sloshed. They were quite jovial, but he got out of control,” fellow passenger John Caputo told Australian TV news service Seven News.
