Queen Letizia of Spain stuns in designer outfit worth over £1,230

Queen Letizia, the stunning Spanish royal, looked lovely today in a feminine look.

The royal, known for her style, opted for a blue and lilac ensemble.

The brunette smiled as she met audiences at her home Zarzuela Palace in Madrid, Spain.

The Zarzuela Palace is the residence of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain and their family.

Leitzia opted for a favourite designer, Hugo Boss, wearing a skirt and top from the German fashion house.

The floral skirt had a blue, white and beige outfit on the pretty midi style.

The lilac top was made of a lightweight material and had buttons on the sleeves.

While neither pieces are currently for sale on Hugo Boss’s website, a similar top is worth £89 while a similar skirt costs £159.

Letizia added earrings by Elena Carrera.

The pretty little pieces, named ‘Butterflies Mini’ are 18K white gold and diamond and cost £530.46.

To the look Letizia added blue and black python shoes from Magrit Shoes.

A similar syle, the ‘Mila’ shoes, cost £452.

Queen Letizia’s style is known being fabulous and she showed it off on Wednesday. 

The Spanish royal rewore a Hugo Boss outfit she has worn before, pairing it with £1500 earrings.

The outfit consisted of a check grey and white top with white trousers.

Letizia and King Felipe took their two daughters to school on Tuesday. 

The royal shocked by going make-up free for the event.

The princesses attend Santa Maria de los Rosales, and like many children are heading back to school this September.

Princess Leonor, 12, and Princess Sofia, 11, wore school uniform and carried school bags.

Career

Letizia was already famous in her native Spain thanks to a career as a TV presenter and journalist.

She even won an award for best Spanish journalist under 30 in 2002, just before she met King Felipe.

Wedding

Felipe and Letizia Ortiz, as she was called then, wed in 2004.

She wore a long-sleeved wedding dress with a 15 foot train by Manuel Pertegaz.

As is custom with royal weddings, Letizia wore a tiara. Her diamond and platinum Prussian tiara is a German imperial heirloom created in 1913 by Koch for Princess Victoria Louise of Prussia’s wedding to Prince Ernst August.

Family

Letizia is the eldest of three daughters, with her middle sister tragically taking her own life in 2007.

Now, Letizia has two daughters, Leonor, Princess of Asturias and Infanta Sofia of Spain. She is a hands on mum, taking the children to school and enjoying countless family holidays with them.

Divorce

Letizia has been married before, wedding Alfonso Guerrero, a teacher, in 1998.

However she did not require an annulment before her roman-catholic marriage to then Prince Felipe in 2004 as her marriage to Guerrero was a civil ceremony.

Plastic surgery

In 2008, Letizia underwent surgery on her nose to correct a respiratory problem, the Spanish palace confirmed at the time.
