Fortnite Shop TODAY: New leaked season 5 skins in September update

New Fortnite week 10 skins have been released today by Epic Games alongside the latest challenges for the battle pass.

And gamers will only have a few days to grab the latest Battle Royale cosmetics, with a new item shop reset coming in less than 24hrs time.

Epic Games have been releasing a new wave of season 5 outfits and items over the past few weeks, with the latest providing a real rock-band theme.

The developers have released an array of new skins today, as well as a fresh glider and harvesting axe.

They can all be found in the Fortnite Shop and come with differing V-Bucks price tags.

Unlike with past weekends, these new Fortnite items come in different rarity ranks, with only Legendary item included.

This would be the Hot Ride glider, a flying car that will set you back around 1,500 V-Bucks to buy.

Meanwhile, The two news skins have already leaked with a bunch of other season 5 designs earlier this year, a practice which has become commonplace in 2018.

Many of these skins have now appeared in the item shop, although fans can expect a steady stream of new content over the coming weeks.

One of the first new designs that were made available during season 5 was the Viking Magnus skin.

This was followed by the legendary Chomp Snr skin, as well as many unique axe designs from Epic Games.

Due to it being ranked in the highest rarity category, the Chomp Snr and Magnus outfits cost a hefty 2,000 V-Bucks each.

However, both the Synth Star and Stage Slayer skins are of the Epic rank, meaning they will cost 1,500 V-bucks to buy.

But while the new outfits are sure to prove popular with those hoping to stock up on some new season 5 gear, other items could be even more sought-after.

That’s because fans can also snap up the new Lead Swinger harvesting tool, fitting in nicely with rest of the band attire.

There is also the Hot Ride glider that can complete the Guns ‘n’ Roses vibe, which completes the set with the Close Shave axe, available for 800 V-Bucks.

These new Fortnite season 5 skins and gear will be available over the next day before being replaced by more content from Epic Games.

As the development team notes whenever selling cosmetic items, this new gear will not provide any kind of bonus during a Battle Royale game.

They are purely cosmetic, so fans shouldn’t worry about spending cash in Fortnite unless they want to earn or buy new gear for their character.

The Tier 100 items will be the ones everyone will want to get their hands on, although that will take some dedication when it comes to completing weekly challenges.

The challenges are separated into hard and regular tiers of difficulty.

The hard difficulty Fortnite challenges net players ten Battle Stars, while the regular tasks reward fans with five Battle Stars.

Unlocking Battle Stars levels up your Battle Pass, which is how you unlock all the rewards on offer.

Season 5 also features bonus challenges that will net players specific items. The Road Trip challenges are similar to Blockbuster challenges from Season 4.

The Road Trip tier rewards players with special loading screens for fully completing all weekly challenges. These loading screens feature hidden Battle Star clues.

Fortnite Battle Royale is a free downloadable game currently available on PC, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Mac and Mobile iOS.
