The 15th season of long-running medical drama Grey’s Anatomy is back tonight (September 27) on ABC in the US.
Sky has the rights to the series in the US where it will be shown on Sky Witness (previously Sky Living) later this year.
Episodes will air on a weekly basis but the first two will be shown for the season premiere.
Showrunner Krista Vernon told TV Line that this series is set to be the “Season of Love”.
How many episodes are in Grey’s Anatomy season 15?
There will be 24 episodes in this season of Grey’s Anatomy.
So far, the titles of six of the early episodes have just been released.

Who is in the cast of Grey’s Anatomy season 15?
Many core cast members are returning for season 15.
Ellen Pompeo will be returning as the central protagonist, Dr Meredith Grey for the upcoming new episodes.
She will be joined by Justin Chambers as Dr Alex Karev.
Chandra Wilson will be back as Dr Miranda Bailey along with James Pickens Jr as Dr Richard Webber.
Giacomo Gianniotti will be returning as Dr Andrew DeLuca, Meredith’s potential new love interest.
New character Dr Atticus Lincoln will be played by Chris Carmack along with fellow newcomer Alex Landi as Dr Nico Kim.
Jeff Perry will be back as Thatcher Grey, Meredith’s father.
What is the plot of Grey’s Anatomy season 15?
The official synopsis for season 15 reads: “The high-intensity medical drama, now in its 15th season, follows Meredith Grey and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions on a daily basis.
“They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship.
“Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white.”
