Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be the latest flagships from Google and succeed the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL that arrived last year.
The two phones are highly-anticipated and are expected to come packing more technologically capable internals, a radical redesign and an improved camera system.
Google has scheduled hardware showcases in New York City, London and Paris on October 9 where it is expected to show off the two new phones.
But ahead of the grand unveiling, both the Pixel 3 and larger Pixel 3 XL appear to have been plagued by numbers leaks that may have lifted the lid on the product’s new features.
Alleged images of both units have emerged online but the Pixel 3 XL seems to have been outed the most.
Videos have emerged of the larger phone being unboxed and used – Pixel 3 XL was shown touting a fresh design with a notch at the top of its display.
Just like previous Pixel devices, supposed Pixel 3 XL units were displayed with only a single camera sensor on its rear.
In addition to discussing the future of its Pixel smartphone line, Google may also be planning to announce a new device on October 9.
MySmartPrice recently posted images of an alleged “Pixel Stand wireless charger” that is set to debut alongside the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.
The accessory was shown featuring a cradle at the top that allows the forthcoming phone to stand upright and wirelessly charge.
An earlier leak of the Pixel 3 XL showed the alleged hardware with wireless charging functionality; this is something that was not possible on either the original Pixel or the Pixel 2.
The outlet insisted the charging pad would be an official product from Google and will feature a USB-C connector at the bottom to allow it to transmit power.
The product appears in a plain white colour but has a bright orange bottom.
Such an accessory was previously mentioned earlier this month when Android developer Kieron Quinn found code hinting a wireless charging stand was on the way.
XDA Developers also posted images of the Google smartphone application with a brand new look that will supposedly turn the Pixel 3 into a smart display when it is sitting on the accessory.
Options for playing music, setting timers and making a phone call were all shown.
In the code discovered, modes for “personalised help” were mentioned, suggesting Pixel 3 owners may be able to interact with the Google Assistant when their flagship is receiving juice wirelessly.
This could allow the hardware to replicate some similar functions to what is currently present on Google Home.
Although the newest leak hints the Google Pixel 3 could arrive with a ton of new and tantalising functionality, Android fans will not have to wait long for the American tech giant to officially detail its next smartphone.
Express.co.uk will be covering Google’s hardware exhibition on October 9 live.
