The outlet insisted the charging pad would be an official product from Google and will feature a USB-C connector at the bottom to allow it to transmit power.
The product appears in a plain white colour but has a bright orange bottom.
Such an accessory was previously mentioned earlier this month when Android developer Kieron Quinn found code hinting a wireless charging stand was on the way.
XDA Developers also posted images of the Google smartphone application with a brand new look that will supposedly turn the Pixel 3 into a smart display when it is sitting on the accessory.
Options for playing music, setting timers and making a phone call were all shown.
In the code discovered, modes for “personalised help” were mentioned, suggesting Pixel 3 owners may be able to interact with the Google Assistant when their flagship is receiving juice wirelessly.
This could allow the hardware to replicate some similar functions to what is currently present on Google Home.
Although the newest leak hints the Google Pixel 3 could arrive with a ton of new and tantalising functionality, Android fans will not have to wait long for the American tech giant to officially detail its next smartphone.
Express.co.uk will be covering Google’s hardware exhibition on October 9 live.
