Sky customers can still make a major saving off their bill but time is running out.
The satellite TV firm has been running its Sky Sports and Sky Entertainment deal for a few weeks but it finally ends tonight.
The ultimate saving includes all of the Sports channels plus 300 entertainment channels for £40 per month.
This would usually cost £59 per month and, during the 18-month contract, the total saving works out at over £340.
The deal even includes channels in full HD.
If you want to save even more money you can opt to take out Broadband Unlimited as well.
This bundle costs £55 per month which is a saving of £34 per month off the usual price.
It’s worth noting that Broadband Unlimited has no download limit but the speeds are only 11Mbps which probably isn’t enough if you want to stream content in 4K.
It’s been a busy few weeks for Sky with the firm announcing new products and the launch of Netflix.
This popular streaming service will arrive in November and offer Sky Q customers the chance to watch content from both platforms via the main home screen using something called Ultimate on Demand.
This service allows Netflix and Sky content to appear side-by-side within the main Q home screen making it simple to watch shows from both services.
Ultimate on Demand will cost £10 per month which includes access to Sky Box Sets (usually £5 per month) and Netflix Standard (£7.99) – giving customers a saving of £2.99 per month.
You’ll need to have an existing Sky Q Entertainment subscription to be eligible for Ultimate on Demand.
A standard Netflix app will also be available for those who simply want to log in via their existing account.
If you can’t wait until November for Netflix on Sky don’t panic.
It’s been confirmed that those with a NOW TV streaming device will get the Netflix app from today.
This will allow customers to access more content, including original shows, films and classics from one single set-top box or streaming stick.
As well as giving users this extra feature there’s also some more big news from NOW TV with the launch if their Smart Box with 4K & Voice Search.
The latest streaming device launches today and offers the ability to stream content in Ultra HD 4K HDR quality and search for programmes via the power of speech.
It also features Live Pause technology which should ensure users don’t miss any of the action on NOW TV’s premium live channels including Sky Sports, FOX, Comedy Central and Sky Atlantic.
Priced at £45.99 the NOW TV Smart Box with 4K & Voice Search is the lowest priced 4K streaming device in the UK and is available from nowtv.com.
It will also be available bundled with a month’s Entertainment, Sky Cinema, Kids and Sky Sports Day Pass for just £49.99 from major retailers including Argos and Currys PCWorld.
