Good Morning Britain viewers tuned in to see Ben Shephard, 43 and Kate Garraway, 51, host today’s show.
And during the entertainment segment, presented by Richard Arnold, 48, a clip was shown of an ITV newsreader who went flying off screen after slipping.
The hosts, along with the majority of viewers watched Balvinder Sidhu, fall over extremely hard whilst getting ready for her show, which airs in the Midlands.
The clip was caught on camera by the team’s film crew, thankfully it was during their practice run and not whilst the show was live.
However, the production crew thought it was too funny not to share and Ben, Kate and Richard got the giggles after watching the replay moment earlier this morning.
Ben explained how Belvinder had slipped out of her shoe, hence why she was seen literally falling off screen.
Luckily, a producer was on hand to help her up and she suffered no injuries.
Following this, Belvinder did a short piece to camera for Ben and Kate where she spoke about the embarrassing moment.
She said: “Good morning Ben and Kate, I can’t believe I’ve just seen myself on television rehearsing in the studio and saw that fall again!
“Thanks for laughing at my expense! I just want to let the nation know, I’m fine, apart from a bruised ego. All is well,” she added.
“Look, I’m wearing trainers in the studio today!”
The camera then panned to her feet, which showed her wearing a pair of metallic pink trainers.
“But I’m glad I’m brining a smile to people’s faces this morning,” she noted.
Good Morning Britain viewers took to Twitter after watching the clip.
One said: “Bless her – but this has brightened up my morning.”
“First few minutes of GMB team this morning, I can’t stop laughing!” Another explained.
A third added: “I was in tears and to be honest, watching Richard Arnold had me laughing just as hard lol. Glad she’s ok however.”
“Hahah now that’s quality TV, but I hope she’s alright, she fell down hard,” one viewer wrote.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV.
