Pixel 2 owners can save over £300 off the Pixel 3 in latest Google deal

The earlier this week and add a number of improvements over their Pixel 2 predecessor.

These latest phones feature an upgraded Snapdragon 845 processor, improved camera – with wide-angle selfie mode – and the ability to charge the phone wirelessly.

If you opt for the larger Pixel 3 XL you’ll also be treated to an edge-to-edge display which covers more area across the front of the phone.

Prices for the Pixel 3 start from £739 for the 64GB memory option with the Pixel 3 XL landing in pockets from £869.

That’s certainly not cheap but there is a trade-in deal from Carphone Warehouse that will drop the price by as much as £310.

The high street retailer is offering deals for anyone happy to hand over their old Pixel 2 in return for money off the shiny new Pixel 3.

There’s £240 off for anyone with a Pixel 2 in good condition and £310 for those with the larger Pixel 2 XL.


Along with this trade-in deal, Carphone is also offering Google’s latest devices on contract.

Via Carphone, O2 is offering the Pixel 3 with 100GB for £49 per month and a £129.99 upfront cost, while the Google Pixel 3 XL can be purchased on O2 with 100GB for £55 per month and a £149.99 upfront cost.

Customers on a slightly tighter budget can opt for the iD Mobile network, which is offering the Google Pixel 3 with 1GB data for £28.99 per month and an upfront cost of £299.99 and the Google Pixel 3 XL with 1GB for £28.99 per month and a £399.99 upfront cost.

New and existing customers can also benefit from a free six-month subscription to streaming service YouTube Music with every Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL purchase on a Sim Free or Post Pay plan

The Pixel and Pixel 3 XL are both available now to pre-order with them arriving in stores from November 1.
