The Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared the happy news with the public just before their royal tour of Australia, Fiji, Tonga and New Zealand kicked off.
Kate Middleton’s sister-in-law has shown off her baby bump in a collection of outfits, and is already looking to be everyone’s new maternity style icon.

27 October: Meghan’s Invictus Games ensembles
Attending the Invictus Games, Meghan firstly wore a red wrap jacket, teamed with a pair of black jeans and patent stiletto heels.
The wrap top is by designer Scanlan Theodore, while the heels were by Sarah Flint.
For the Invictus Games closing ceremony, Meghan opted for a backless Antonio Berardi dress.
26 October: Meghan wows in Oscar De La Renta
Meghan’s most talked about looks from the royal tour is the Oscar De La Renta dress the Duchess wore to the Australian Geographic Society Gala Awards.
Meghan stunned in the unique gown, teamed with black heels and a clutch bag.
26 October: Meghan wears blue and stripes in Tonga
On 26 October, Meghan and Harry attended the unveiling of The Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy at Tupou College as well as an exhibition of Tongan handicrafts.
For the two occasions, Meghan opted for a Martin Grant cotton stripped dress and a blue number by Veronia Beard.
25 October: Meghan pays tribute to Tonga in red
As the Duke and Duchess arrived in Tonga, Meghan paid tribute in the same red shade from the Tonga flag.
Meghan wore a red midi dress by Self Portrait.
25 October: Meghan looks chic in white gown in Fiji
Attending a reception in Tonga, all eyes were on Meghan as we glowed in a classy white Theia Couture gown.
24 October: Meghan wears pom-pom dress in Fiji
During their second day in Fiji, Meghan and Harry visited the University of the South Pacific in Suva, where the Duchess gave a speech about the importance of education.
For the day, Meghan dressed in a colourful pink and floral dress with pom pom detail by Figue.
The Duchess finished the look off with a clutch bag made by a local artist in Fiji, a pair a wedges and flowers in her hair.
23 October: Meghan pays tribute to Fiji in blue gown
For a dinner hosted by the president of the South Pacific nation Jioji Konrote at the Grand Pacific Hotel, Meghan paid tribute to Fiji by wearing a blue gown, the same shade as the blue on the flag.
The dress was by Safiyaa, which the Duchess teamed with a pair of huge diamond earrings.
23 October: Meghan stuns in white
For their first day in Fiji, Meghan and Harry met with President of Fiji Jioji Konrote and his wife Sarote Faga Konrote as well as attended a welcome ceremony.
Meghan stunned in a white ensemble for the occasion, wearing a dress by Zimmermann and a fascinator by Stephen Jones.
22 October: Meghan goes casual in high street
On 22 October, Meghan and Harry met with people at the Kingfisher Bay Resort on Fraser Island.
Meghan was spotted in two ensembles during her time on the Island, including a high street number.
Meghan firstly wore a blue and white striped linen dress by Reformation before changing into a red and white polka dot dress by & Other Stories.
20 October: Meghan Markle supports the Invictus Games
Meghan represented the Invictus Games as she arrived on Cockatoo Island for the Driving Challenge with Prince Harry, wearing a black polo top with the branding.
Meghan added a white blazer by Altuzarra with a pair of jeans by Mother Denim.
In the evening for the Invictus Games Opening Ceremony Meghan wore a navy ensemble, her hair up and a pair of drop earrings.
The dress was by Stella McCartney, styled with a coat by Gillian Anderson for Winser London and a Dior handbag.
20 October: Meghan wears all black for the opening of the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park
Attending the opening of the ANZAC Memorial in Hyde Park, the Duchess paid her respects in a black ensemble.
Meghan’s dress was by Emilia Wickstead, and was accessorised with a black fascinator, a black clutch bag and stilettos.
19 October: Meghan goes casual on the beach
The 19 October saw another day packed full of fun visits for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.
The couple’s first stop was to Bondi Beach, where Meghan looked beautiful in a casual maxi dress by Martin Grant.
Later, for a visit to Macarthur Girls High School, Meghan dropped half of her hair down, slipped into some heels and a navy Roksanda Ilinčić dress.
18 October: Meghan recycles trench coat
On 18 October, Harry and Meghan enjoyed another full day of activities in Melbourne.
For the occasion, Meghan recycled her favourite trench coat from earlier in the trip, by Martin Grant.
For the first part of the day, the Duchess wore a navy dress by Australian designer Dion Lee, and later changed into a black Club Monaco dress for a walk along the beach with Prince Harry.
On the beach, Meghan wore her trusty Rothy’s flats for comfort.
17 October: Meghan covers up in oversized shirt and high street boots
For her second day in Australia, Meghan opted for a smart-casual ensemble.
The Duchess wore a pair of black jeans by Outland Denim, an oversized white shirt by Maison Kitsuné and a tweed blazer by Serena Williams.
Meghan finished off the look with a pair of black suede boots by J.Crew.
16 October: Meghan Markle debuts baby bump in white
Meghan’s first official engagement in Sydney was just hours after the news of her pregnancy was released.
The Duchess and her husband met Governor General Peter Cosgrove and wife Lynne Cosgrove at Admiralty House before a trip to Taronga Zoo.
For this occasion, Meghan wore a chic white midi dress, teamed with a pair of nude heels.
The dress – by Australian designer Karen Gee – gave a slight peek at Meghan’s growing bump.
Later on in the day, Meghan added a nude parka jacket to the look to keep her warm.
16 October: Meghan Markle stuns in green
The evening of their first day in Sydney, Meghan changed for a reception hosted by the Governor-General at Admiralty House.
The Duchess concealed her baby bump in a dark green Brandon Maxwell dress, with cap sleeves and a pleated skirt.
Meghan wore her hair up in her famous messy bun, accessorising the outfit with a pair of the late Princess Diana’s earrings.
The former actress wore the earrings earlier in the day as well, and it was later confirmed they were from Diana’s jewellery collection.
12 October: Hiding baby bump at Princess Eugenie’s wedding
Although no one knew it at the time, the outfit Meghan wore to Princess Eugenie’s wedding was technically her first maternity look.
Attending the wedding of the Princess of York and Jack Brooksbank, Meghan wore a navy Givenchy coat dress, which draped perfectly down the Duchess’ stomach.
The royal tour continues for the next 15 days.
