I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is back again and former Inbetweeners star Emily Atack is proving a popular contestant. The 11 celebrities this year have included some well known figures like footy legend Harry Redknapp and Deal or no Deal star Noel Edmonds. Now split into teams, the contestants are learning how to work together and bond as a group.
Who is Emily Atack’s famous mother?
Emily Atack is famous for her parts in the Dad’s Army film and thriller movie Lies We Tell.
She is perhaps most well known for her role in The Inbetweeners, where she played recurring character Charlotte Hinchcliffe.
Atack’s success can be attributed in part to her mother, who is also an accomplished actress, comedian and singer.

Emily Atack’s mother is Kate Robbins, who rose to fame in the 1980s as a singer.
Robbins gained popularity when she managed to grab the number two spot on the British charts with her song More Than In Love.
This attracted particular attention, as at the time she was also starring in the soap opera Crossroads.
Her most enduring role however was with the political satire show Splitting Image, which focused on parodying major figures in the 1980s.

These included Margaret Thatcher, Ronald Reagan and the Queen, notably voiced by Kate Robins.
Emily Atack’s star-studded family doesn’t end with her mother however, as she is also a relative of Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney.
McCartney is Atack’s first cousin twice removed, the cousin of her grandmother.
While she has grown up in an unusual household, emily Atack has seen I’m a Celebrity as a chance to do something new.
The Inbetweeners star has said she is looking for “something mad and exciting”, and has opened up about what she thinks about entering the show.

Kate Robbins’ brother and sister also both rose into showbusiness.
Kate and sister Amy formed part of group Prima Donna, which once came third in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Amy Robbins is otherwise best known for her part playing Dr Jill Weatherill in TV series The Royal, and Police Sergeant Rachel James on BBC One drama Casualty.
Ted Robbins is known for presenting the Sunday morning show on BBC radio Lancashire and his roles in Benidorm and the League of Gentlemen TV shows.

Talking to ITV, she said: “This is definitely very exciting! I couldn’t say no. I don’t have any real phobias but I don’t like creepy crawlies just like everyone else.
“I have no idea how it is going to be but what I would say is that this is probably the most challenging thing I have ever done.
“But I am up for it. Acting is easy!
“I am single at the moment. And never say never [to finding a romance in the camp].
“We are in a situation where we are all not going to smell our best, nor look our best and I can’t really imagine it happening but hey, who knows?! It’s a bit of fun!”
