Weight loss diet: How Huw Edwards lost three stone on this plan revealed

Huw Edwards, 57, is the newsreader who has wowed many with his weight loss. He is set to appear on Mary Berry’s Christmas Party this month. Images released to promote the programme show Huw looking very slim and healthy. So how has he lost weight?

The star shared a snap of himself and Mary, 83, on Instagram.

One person wrote: “Just read about your remarkable boxing journey and 3 stone weight loss. That’s amazing!!”

Another fan added: “Huw Edwards, what a transformation.”

Huw has revealed that his weight loss is largely down to taking up boxing.

He even wrote a tribute to boxing star Clinton McKenzie on Instagram.

“Big shout-out to The Champ who kept me going this past year,” Huw wrote, addressing Clinton.


According to reports, intense training sessions with the former professional boxer saw the newsreader drop to 13 stone from 16.

In a recent interview Huw told the Sun: “I don’t have any beauty secrets, but I have taken up boxing.

“I’ve always battled with my weight, until I found boxing. Now I do three sessions a week and feel great.”
