Coronation Street sweetheart Leanne Battersby (played by Jane Danson) has not had the best luck with Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) so far.
After he left her years ago, he arrived in Weatherfield once again last month to reignite their flame.
But it wasn’t all as it seemed after it was revealed he was already married to Elsa (Kelly Harrison).
And while his estranged wife was eager to settle the divorce, she didn’t exactly go about it in the nicest of ways.
After finding out about Leanne she was understandably furious, but the duo eventually worked it out, and the divorce continued to proceed.
However Nick may not be out of the woods yet, as another mystery caller is looking for him.
Leanne was furious enough when she found out about Elsa last year, and this story could be enough to tip her over the edge.
Next week’s episodes will see Nick gifting Leanne a beautiful diamond necklace – something she comes to treasure so much she posts a selfie online of her incredible new trinket.
But the internet is a scary place, and Nick’s former wife Elsa sees it and promptly confronts him on the grounds he surely has more money than he is currently letting on.
Meanwhile – as if this situation wasn’t bad enough for Nick – Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) will go on to tell Leanne that a mystery woman keeps calling the flat and asking for Nick.
He will later be spotted with this woman – Natalie – by Leanne, landing him in even more hot water.
Nick is obviously distressed during his meet-up with Natalie, and is struggling to get rid of her.
And when Leanne finally confronts him, Nick lies and says Natalie is his divorce solicitor and is helping him with Elsa’s newest demands.
Leanne eventually goes on to apologise to her beau for not trusting him, but the truth will surely be revealed in the coming weeks.
Now that Nick is living with Leanne, he will not be able to hide something from her for too long, but what is the truth behind the mysterious Natalie?
What’s more, Nick’s brother David Platt (Jack P. Shepherd) has begun noticing how strange he has been acting.
And as the two are just about to go into business together, he may not want any secrets between them.
But if he finds out something that Leanne would not like, would he tell her the truth? Or keep his brother safe?
The only thing that is for sure is the Platt brothers are certainly in for a wild ride over the next two months.
Coronation Street continues tomorrow at 7.30pm on ITV.
