
“It was better than I expected, I felt like I could talk to the other coaches more, we could have a bit more banter, more of a connection.”
The star admitted when a crowd is in the studio he can sometimes “play up” more to the cameras, instead of speaking with his colleagues.
He added: “Sometimes when there’s a crowd there I can play up a bit more, I think you’re seeing a different side to us coaches without the audience there.”
The programme has had no live studio audience since the UK Government-enforced social distancing restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic, which began last March.
