This is a clever way to help deter scalpers, who have been plaguing PS5 fans ever since the console launched last year.
If you’re looking to purchase a PS5 from Argos then the good news is you shouldn’t have too much longer to wait for the next restock.
Following this Wednesday’s Argos PS5 restock the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted about when the retailer will be getting its next stock drop.

The account tweeted: “Smyths, Argos, Amazon & GAME are now early April”.
Elsewhere the Argos Helpers Twitter account said the retailer is currently “working hard” to get more PS5 stock.
Tweeting at one gamer who asked when more PS5 stock was coming in the @ArgosHelpers account said: “We are working hard to replenish stock of the PS5 at the moment.
“Please keep an eye on our website, where you will find the most up to date information on current stock availability.”
Whether Argos drops any PS5 stock again next week, or a bit further into April, remains to be seen.

The @PS5Instant Twitter account has claimed Amazon, John Lewis and Very stock could all go live next week.
The @PS5Instant Twitter posted: “Currys selecting more via priority pass. Very, JL & Amazon drop next week.”
ASDA are also tipped to be getting another PS5 restock soon.
The good news about the next Amazon PS5 stock is that it could be the biggest one yet.
Earlier this week the @PS5StockAlertUK Twitter posted: “News: Amazon is expecting around 8K stock to be delivered this weekend. There may be more shipment deliveries made that I don’t know other than this.
“8K might sound small to you, but Amazon have always released under 5K stock each restock, so this shows an increase in supply.”
