The scandals Hector referred to came in August 1993 when Jackson was accused of molesting four children, including a 13-year-old boy. A further lawsuit was filed against the singer in September 1993. He was later acquitted of these allegations.
However, Sega and Sonic The Hedgehog composer Brad Buxer tells a different story about Jackson’s involvement with the video game.
Buxer claimed the music still remained in the video game when it was released, and to this day.
Speaking to Black & White Magazine, Buxer said: “I’ve never played the game so I do not know what tracks on which Michael and I have worked the developers have kept, but we did compose music for the game.”
