“Never be afraid to be yourself no matter what. I will never judge you but always support you just as my mum and dad did with me.

“We will make mistakes together and we will learn together. Love you little man.”

Leo Oliver was named after Jake’s late brother, Oliver, who sadly died at aged just 19, after a battle with bone cancer in 2012.

He is Jake’s first child and Sophie’s second after six-year-old Freddie, who is already enjoying his role as an older brother.

Since Leo’s birth, Jake has been sharing adorable anecdotes about his ‘fatherhood journey’ with his baby boy.

Today he wrote: “LOVE…. I have to post this this morning and hopefully it makes you smile!

“The fatherhood journey is the best, everyday Leo is changing and doing new things, as you can all tell I’m absolutely obsessed with my little family now!

“I don’t want to wish away a moment it’s easy to say ‘I can’t wait till he can walk or talk etc.’ but the little baby stage is so beautiful and rewarding!

“Leo’s still not sleeping great but it’s getting better and I love just watching him! Have a great week love from us all.”

Despite being only weeks old, Leo already has his own Instagram page, where his parents post pictures of their “beautiful boy”.

One post reads: “Hi guys… Daddy dressed me up like a lion and when I’m old enough I’m going to smash his face in for this!”

Another post reads: “Hi guys! Kept mum and dad awake all night because I’m a gangster and it was hilarious watching dad trying to calm me down.

“After he changed my nappy I did a poo straight away which also really made me laugh as he had to change me again! Not sure my vibe today, might behave might not.”

And other reads: “Guys just downed my milk and now I’m completely steaming, being milk drunk is the best…. yeeehaaa.”
