Can I go to Grand Cayman on my holiday?
Travel to countries outside of the Government’s travel green list is not advised.
As of May 17, the Cayman Islands is included on the amber list for travel.
This means anyone travelling to Grand Cayman or anywhere else in the Cayman Islands from England will be subject to a number of restrictions.

Are flights operating to the Cayman Islands?
Along with its amber list status, people in England will currently struggle to get a flight to the Cayman Islands.
British Airways are operating some flights to the Cayman Islands in May 2021 and June 2021, according to the airline’s websites.
According to Skyscanner, there are no flights operating from UK airports to the Cayman Islands for the rest of May 2021.
The site is also not showing any flights from the UK to the Cayman Islands for the month of June 2021.
This could be subject to change over the coming weeks.
Will the Cayman Islands be added to the green list?
The Cayman Islands could potentially be added to the green list in the next review.
Reviews of the travel list are expected to take place every three weeks.
Cayman’s Governor Martyn Roper acknowledged that that the news the Cayman Islands was missing from the green list was “disappointing”, but he said he hoped the islands would be moved to the green list in the next review.
In a statement, the Governor said: “Given Cayman’s excellent response to the COVID-19 crisis I am hopeful that Cayman will move onto the green list at the review point. My office will remain in close contact with the UK as the list evolves.”
Earlier this month The Telegraph reported that based on levels of Covid infection and the rates of variants, Fiji, the Cayman Islands, Grenada, Finland and Malta could be added to the green list following the next review.
Several Caribbean islands could also be added to the list as they are reporting very low infection rates, including Antigua and Barbuda, St Kitts and Nevis and Anguilla.
