Cleaning: Mrs Hinch fans share ‘magic’ 5p hack to clean dirty oven dishes

Fans of cleaning expert Mrs Hinch have shared their tips on social media once again, this time regarding roasting dishes. Oven dishes, roasting dishes and glass ovenware can often gather grease over time which can turn black if exposed to the heat from the oven multiple times. Now, fans of Mrs Hinch, whose real name is Sophie Hinchliffe, have shared a 5p hack for removing grease and old food from oven dishes.
Dishwasher tablets cost around £2 to £3 in most supermarkets.

Morrisons Savers Lemon Dishwasher tablets cost just £2 for a packet of 40.

This works out at just 5p per tablet, making it an affordable option cleaning enthusiasts.

Some other suggestions from cleaning fans were to use soda crystals or washing powder, scrunched up tin foil, Bar Keepers Friend and the Pink Stuff paste.

“Next morning cut bag away, hose off any spills, your dish will be like new. Just wash and use.”

Another individual suggested: “Soda crystals, tea bag and boiling water to the brim, leave for as long as possible then use a scourer.”

Mrs Hinch garnered popularity after sharing her cleaning advice and recommendations on social media and TV.

She is now an author and has over 4.1 million followers on Instagram.
