Famous in America for its square hamburgers and sea salt fries, Wendy’s is making its return to the UK today. Opening its doors in locations across the country, the fast food restaurant will service food items like chicken nuggets, burgers, baked potatoes as well as breakfast options.
The company has said it hopes to have around 400 branches in total.
A statement said: “The UK launch will spearhead a European-wide expansion as Wendy’s looks to build on strong growth on the other side of the Atlantic, where the brand last year dethroned Burger King to become the No 2 player in the US hamburger market.”
The chain will also be partnering with food delivery service Uber Eats to bring delicious food to people at home too.
What can customers expect to find on the Wendy’s food menu?
