Weather presenter Carol Kirkwood, 59, tends to keep details about her love life private, but has spoken in depth about her mystery partner in a new interview. The BBC Breakfast star said her partner is “very romantic” and often leaves love notes around the house.
She gushed: “He is very kind and very funny – he’s always making me laugh. And extremely handsome, as well!
“He always makes me a cup of tea before I go to work in the morning, which is very romantic – it’s 2.45am!
“And he often leaves me a little love note for when I come home from work. That, to me, is worth a million red roses.”
Speaking to Prima Magazine, she added that while she is unsure of a second marriage, he is the “best thing that’s ever happened to me”.
She told Radio Times: “I started to do things and to think, ‘I’m not going to say no, I’m going to say yes!’”
The presenter discussed her partner following the release of her first book Under A Greek Moon.
She said writing the novel was easy as she is a “die-hard romantic”.
Carol previously teased that her book will be filled with “love, scandal and secrets”.
