British expats feel ‘isolated” in Spain because of the amber list It is impossible to get back

Spain currently appears on the Amber List, which means that non-fully vaccinated Britons must quarantine for 10 Days upon their return.

The country may move soon to the “amber+” list, meaning that fully-jabbed travelers will have to be self-isolated in the UK.

The UK doesn’t yet recognize the EU vaccine passport, so only those who have received their vaccine from the NHS will be exempted from quarantining upon returning to an amber-list country.

For expats who live abroad, this is an important issue.
