Soon, the Halo Infinite beta, or “technical preview flying”, as Microsoft calls it, is on its way. A number of rounds of testing will be conducted before launch. 343 has provided details on the initial preview. The preview will be focused on bot battles and could take place as early as next weekend according to the developers.
The beta will open to the “hundreds and thousands” of Insider Program players. The beta will include a Slayer playlist that includes bot matches on Recharge, Bazaar and Live Fire. To access weapon drill challenges, you can also get to the Academy training mode.
A limited number of cosmetics and battle pass content will be available to you. These can also be purchased with in-game credits. However, these unlocks won’t transfer to the final game.
The future tests will include additional PvP content such as Big Team Battle and traditional Arena. If all goes according to plan, they will be available to more players. The developers also intend to make sure that every player who has signed up by the deadline for testing gets access to a version of the game.
The official website has all the details about the developers’ hopes for feedback. This holiday is the Halo Infinite launch date.
