Red Dead Redemption 2 now has buyable properties Modders

This is a feature Red Dead Online gamers have been asking for since its launch. However, the possibility to buy properties in Red Dead Redemption 2 has still remained an unfulfilled dream. Modders are introducing a property system for the PC single-player game. This allows you to build your very own house in the Prairie. Without Uncle complaining constantly about lumbago.

Bolmin and Dick Hertz released the mod Buyable Properties last week. It allows players to purchase a variety of hotel rooms or cabins. This mod is intended to be used in the epilogue map and can also serve as an efficient way to use any epilogue money you have left. It’s possible to decorate your home with many interior and exterior improvements. See the video below (but not).SpoilersThis is, of course, the ending to Red Dead Redemption 2’s tale):

Three customisable homes are available to you (located in the Heartlands near Strawberry, Rhodes and near Rhodes). These houses are indicated on the map by a “house to purchase” sign. Although you are able to take a break in these houses, and some items can be used in them for your own use, they do not have much functionality at the moment. However there is an update that will add weapons lockers. You can also buy a hotel room permanently if you’re looking for something more luxurious.

To make this work, you will need two prerequisite mods: RDR2 ASI Loader and Script Hook RDR2. Place the Buyable Properties mod’s “Houses” folder and Houses.asi files in your game directory alongside them. You will need Sergeant Joe’s Lockdown Manager to be able to use the mod as Arthur. Further information about installing Buyable Properties can be found on the Nexus Mods Page.

Although they may not look like grand mansions or have a lot of charm, these little cottages can be a great place to stop off on long journeys. And there is something very satisfying about decorating them. Imagine if you could purchase a home for as low as $18k today.
