However, the Frenchman was discussed in a possible swap with Chelsea or Sevilla for Jules Kounde.

Romero, however, is determined to make his move to Spurs. He has also already reached personal terms.
Spurs will offer him a 5-year contract, so all that remains is to settle the Atalanta fee.
Barcelona wants to sign a centre-back, but it needs to be sold before the new players can register and spend.
