Liverpool pair ‘block Donyell Malen’s transfer as Dortmund Anfield star move wanted

Liverpool had talks about a Donyell Malen deal but they were unable to do so due to Xherdan Shahiri’s inability and Divock Origi’s refusal. Borussia Dortmund has signed the Dutch forward for an estimated fee of around PS25million.

Although Malen made an appearance for Malen’s country at the European Championships in his native Finland, there was growing speculation about his future.

PSV stated that the striker was available for departure and Liverpool joined the race.

Reds had talks with Arsenal about a possible deal.
