Chelsea said Lukaku would cost more than 100m Euros

Inter Milan will not sell Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea unless they make a more attractive offer than EUR100m, Chelsea has been told.

Chelsea has been trying to sign their ex-striker but haven’t made an offer that meets Inter’s valuation.

He scored 24 goals and played a major role in Inter’s win of Serie A last season.

Inter must reduce their wages this summer. Title-winning manager Antonio Conte quit the club in May over concerns about his plans to trim his budget.

Lukaku, however, is happy at Inter and prepared to do his best next season.

He was able to finish in the Euro 2020 official team by UEFA. After that, he took a vacation to the Caribbean and USA where he stayed true to his personal training program.

Now, he is training again with Inter and is focused fully on the next season.

Chelsea is determined to find a top-flight striker, and Borussia Dortmund’s Erling Hailand has been their main goal this summer.

In July 2014, Everton bought Lukaku from Cheslea for PS28m.

In July 2017, he was very close to making a comeback, before joining Manchester United for PS75m.

Two years ago, Inter acquired him for PS73m from United.

Lukaku would leave Milan for what?

Sky Sports News’ Kaveh Sokol, on The Transfer Show:

Lukaku, as far as Inter Milan’s player concerns, is 100% committed to his work and is focused.

He loves Inter and isn’t going to make a fuss. His attitude has been outstanding. Lukaku is not concerned by Antonio Conte’s departure or the mass sale of his teammates. He’s felt rejuvenated since joining Inter.

Inter Milan would be a better place if he left.
