Google now offers a Chromecast and Stadia on a permanent basis Controller bundle

With Stadia becoming available on Chromecast with Google TV in June, a bundle with the streaming dongle and a Stadia Controller made a lot of sense. Google had offered two bundles at a discount, which was due to end yesterday. However, 9To5Google has reported that the permanent bundle is now even more affordable than it was before.

With Google’s Play and Watch with Google TV Package, you can pick up Chromecast with Google TV ($50 alone) and the Stadia Controller ($69) for $100, or $19 off the regular price — a bit better than the $17.25 discount offered earlier. For $10 extra, the Chromecast Ethernet adapter can be purchased for an additional $10.

If you’re okay with older hardware, Google is also offering the older Chromecast Ultra in a bundle with the Stadia Controller for $80. This is a very limited time offer for the Chromecast Ultra.

With the addition of a remote, Chromecast with Google TV went from being an also-ran streaming device to one of the best out there. The new Google TV interface makes it easier than ever to use and also works with Google Assistant to voice control. Stadia Controller works with Chromecast, Google-powered TVs, and is wirelessly accessible, so there’s very little latency.
