Moderna and Pfizer will increase the prices of their vaccines
After adapting to the new Covid-19 viruses, pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Pfizer will raise the prices of their vaccines. According to El Economista, this was confirmed by Clement Beaune (French Secretary of State for European Affairs at the Financial Times).

How will new prices change?

The British newspaper reports that the cost of Pfizer’s vaccine ranges from 15.50 Euros (366.10 Mexican Pesos roughly) to 19.50 Euros (460.58 Mexican Pesos approximately), while Moderna will go up from 19 euros (448.77 Mexican Pesos approximately), to 21.50 EUR (507.81 Mexican Pounds approximately).

According to the official, it will apply not just for EU members but for all buyers.

Pfizer, Moderna and other pharmaceutical companies were expected to make around $32 billion on the vaccine in December 2020.

Morgan Stanley estimates that Pfizer will generate $19 Billion in vaccine revenues this year. This amount is in addition to the $975 Million from vaccines for 2020.
