Raphael Varane watched closely as Manchester United’s new team-mates ran wild in the final preseason friendly at Old Trafford against Everton. As he continued his isolation, the Frenchman shared a photo of himself feeding his child while absorbing all of the action via his Instagram Story.
It was a great game to watch, and United set a precedent by smashing through the Toffees.
Thanks to Mason Greenwood’s, Harry Maguire’s and Bruno Fernandes goals, the Red Devils went 3-0 up in 30 minutes.
After a Jordan Pickford gift, Greenwood opened the scoring.
Everton’s goalkeeper lost the ball to Greenwood who scored in the empty net.

His flight from India to England had been delayed by Visa issues. This was despite the fact that he’d already planned on it several days earlier.
Varane was then granted permission to fly to England to finish his transition to the Premier League runners-up last season.
Only a few more days of isolation remain before he can finalize his move.
Varane may still be available for Leeds’ Premier League opener next week.

However, the 28-year old may need to work hard for his place on the training fields.
Victor Lindelof impressed in pre-season so far and will be playing alongside Maguire at Old Trafford this afternoon.
Axel Tuanzebe will be on loan from Aston Villa once Varane has confirmed his move.
