Chris Harris, Top Gear host warns that the Government needs cars ‘gone’ in ‘bleak’ prediction

Top Gear’s host claimed that it was obvious the government wanted people to “live in cities with public transport”. His attack was posted on social media and he described his result as “bleak”.

Birmingham and Bath already have new Clean Air Zone fees that target drivers who drive non-compliant petrol or diesel vehicles.

London’s Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) will be expanding to include all of the North Circular and South Circular areas in October.

E10 gasoline will be available next month for 600,000.

In its new Transport Decarbonisation Plan, the Government has warned that petrol and diesel vans may be outlawed by the end the next decade.
