Married at First Sight’s Cathy Evans claims she’s’medically ineligible’ for AstraZeneca Covid vaccinations…after receiving a highly-risk Brazilian buttlift

Married At First Sight star Cathy Evans has revealed why she won’t be receiving the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine – months after undergoing a risky Brazilian butt lift surgery.

Cathy, 27, shared her thoughts about the vaccine on Wednesday, after a fan asked her whether she’d thought about getting AstraZeneca rather than the Pfizer jab.

‘Medically I am not fit for it,’ she responded, adding: ‘Not going to answer any more Covid related questions.’

‘Over the subject bro,’ the influencer concluded.

Cathy was likely referring to her fears about developing blood clots after taking the AstraZeneca jab – an extremely rare side effect that occurs in one out of 88,000 patients, according to ABC.

Approximately one out of 24 cases of blood clots have been fatal in Australia.

In contrast, the risks associated with Brazilian butt lifts – a procedure which Cathy underwent in June – are astronomically higher.

According to an August 2018 report by The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (ASAPS), the high risk procedure results in the death of one in 3,000 patients.

‘This rate of death is far higher than any other cosmetic surgery,’ the report reads.

Cathy made headlines two months ago after she underwent a $30,000 surgical makeover, including liposuction and a Brazilian butt lift (which involves transferring fat into the bottom).

Days after Cathy debuted the results of her surgery, fellow MAFS star Haley Vernon commenting on Instagram warning others about the risks associated with receiving fat transfers to the derrière.

‘Look, a Brazilian bum lift is riskier than heart surgery, 1 in 2000 girls die of infection,’ she wrote.
