Jake Paul, a YouTube star, will take on former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Whiteley (19-7-1, seven KOs MMA), in an eight-round bout at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse, Cleveland. Showtime will broadcast the fight.
Paul has already defeated AnEsonGib on YouTube, Nate Robinson, and Ben Askren during his professional career. Now, he will be facing Woodley who is widely regarded as the greatest welterweight in UFC history. Woodley has not had much boxing training but has the most knockouts (10) in UFC welterweight history and a 7-2 knockout record during his MMA career.
According to Evening Standard, Sunday’s fight between Woodley & Paul could draw up to 22,000 fans. These celebrities and influential people are likely to attend the fight.
