The iconic Sega and Nintendo football shirts from the 1990s to the sponsorship by PlayStation of the Champions League. Xbox continues the long-standing partnership between the industry’s powerhouses and football teams. Series X and S manufacturers have announced that they are partnering with the England football team.
Xbox has been named the official gaming partner for the England National Teams.
It is located across the Three Lionesses and eLions as well as Wembley Stadium, which connects by EE to St George’s Park.
It doesn’t necessarily mean that we will see a huge Xbox logo on England’s shirt any time soon, as we did with Sega or Nintendo logos on Fiorentina kits.
These branding elements are not used on kits for national football teams.
To mark this new partnership, Wembley Stadium was illuminated in Xbox green.
The walkway leading to Wembley pitch was lit in green.
Xbox and The FA stated that their partnership is “a celebration the driving principle inclusive play shared by Xbox and The FA”.
In the message to partners, it reflects our shared goal of welcoming all players.

In the lead-up to England’s match against Hungary in September 2, this partnership was revealed.
Xbox and the FA will partner together to launch a grassroots gaming campaign. This will bring exciting gaming experiences to football fans all over the country.
