AI-trained to detect breast cancer Disease

Nottingham University Hospital has tested a new method to detect breast cancer.

MIA, an artificial intelligence that was created using historical scans in order to determine if it could make the same diagnosis like humans.

Two mammograms in the UK are reviewed annually by specialists. It is possible that the AI (artificial intelligence) will eventually be the second reader at screening centers, potentially speeding up this process.
