Apple may be unhappy with your iPhone’s glitches, but it is not a problem. It can be fixed for no cost

Some iPhone owners could be eligible for a free repair after Apple spotted a rather annoying issue with one of its devices. Some iPhone 12 versions may have problems making and receiving phone calls due to the tiny receiver that sends sound into your ear.

This could make it impossible for users to listen to conversations when they use the phone to talk to friends or family. Apple now says that anyone affected by the problem can get things fixed free of charge via the firm’s Service Programme.

The US company posted the following statement on its website: Apple has found that only a small number of iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro models may have sound problems due to an issue with the receiver module. The affected devices were produced between October 2020 and April 2021.

If your iPhone 12 Pro or iPhone 12 Pro doesn’t emit any sound when it receives or makes calls, you may qualify for service.

Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider can service eligible devices free of cost.
