Fortnite server down in the morning: What's the down time?
For update 17.50

The new Fortnite update is releasing today, and Epic Games has confirmed that servers are shutting down so that maintenance can be performed.

Update 17.50 will be the next major Season 7 patch. The development team teased some things that might be added.

Epic Games claims that the next content update will come from outer space. This could refer to the return of friendly faces.

Kevin the Cube is rumored to be back at Fortnite Season 7, with a connection to Fortnite Chapter 3.

Fortnite players who have been around for a while will be familiar with the Cube. He was prominently featured in season 5 and 6.

Kevin remained for quite some time, and was an important part of the story. However, he was eventually removed.

Kevin may be able to participate in the Fortnite Live Event, which might be announced as soon as September 3.

Another rumour suggests that we’ll get another weapon in Fortnite Season 7. This would make Epic have the opportunity to fix any balance issues and give them the time to do so before the next season begins.

Fortnite’s server outage for this morning has been scheduled to begin at 9:00 BST Tuesday, August 31st 2021.

This will affect gamers living in the United States. Maintenance starts at 4:00 AM EDT the next day.

There is no need to wait for servers to return as every platform will be back online simultaneously.

Note that the gamers are going to be kicked out of matches within thirty minutes. This is before today’s shutdown.

Fortnite’s team sent a message saying: “17.50 is coming from outer space on Aug 31!” The update will be delayed for approximately. 04:00 AM ET (08:00 UTC). The matchmaking system will be turned off at approximately. It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete the process.

Epic Games did not provide an exact date, but they confirmed that it would be less than 24 hours.

According to estimates, maintenance can last up to 4 hours. This means that things will be back online at 1 PM BST.

Today’s Fortnite maintenance will bring you more news including patch notes.

Following that update, Fortnite Crew subscribers will receive a major update this week.

Epic Games has confirmed the following message: “So unstoppable, Midas made Midas his enforcer. The Burning Wolf bursts forth with the September 2021 Crew Pack. The Crew Pack will be available for Fortnite Crew members starting around 8 pm ET on August 31.

“When will other members of The First Shadows show themselves?” In October and November’s Crew Packs, the next two members of The First Shadows will be making their grand entry. Subscribed players who have assembled The First Shadows all three will be eligible for a style bonus.

What else can you find in the September Crew Pack?” The Burning Wolf, a knight of origin, is skilled at using a sword to strike. The Burning Fangs Back Bling allows you to keep your swords ready and then use them as the Burning Fangs Pickaxe.
