New research has shown that the UK’s most tranquil towns are the best for people who want to live in peace and quiet. North Berwick is a popular choice, as are Melrose and Lewes.

PwC reported that London’s population will plummet by more than 300,000.

Delamere Health recently conducted research that revealed 10 of the most relaxing places to live, either for vacation or as a permanent home.

The rankings were based on factors like the population, cafes and spas as well as walking trails, library, museums, crime, nightlife, etc.

Thus, the towns are ranked high for having little crime and nightlife.

This study included 30 popular UK staycation destinations, as well as the availability of relaxation facilities.
