James Corden addresses Met Gala outfit comments: ‘Let’s not get carried away’

James Corden (43), graced Monday’s Met Gala 2021 Red Carpet with Julia Carey. The theme of In America: A Lexicon of Fashion was celebrated by Gavin and Stacey actors. However, they chose a black, simple, but stylish, tuxedo. This outfit has been criticized by viewers via social media.

Critics claimed that he didn’t try to keep with the theme of this year. Even Keke Palmer, co-host of The Late Late Show couldn’t help but laugh at The Late Late Show host during his Vogue Livestream interview.

He looked smart, however, as he confidently wore the Gucci Tux, which he paired it with a matching white shirt and black waistcoat.

Julia looked stunning in an elegant sequined gown from the Italian fashion house.

James and Keke climbed up the stairs, but James decided to branch out to talk to Keke about their outfits for the evening.
