Back to the Future the Musical’s Christopher Lloyd, Doc Brown’s star, ‘blew away’ him – WATCH

The audience cheered as the actor, 82 years old, entered London’s Adelphi Theatre and took his place. He thanked them by waving his hands.

Today Lloyd was on BBC’s The One Show to discuss his reactions after watching Back to the Future the Musical.

By video calling from the US, Doc Brown’s original Marty McFly star Michael J Fox joined him as Doc Brown.

Lloyd was asked how the show recreated the joyful feeling that they felt when watching the movie in 1985.

He stated, “I don’t know how they managed it!” This is a fantastic show. It was amazing. This is amazing!”

Lloyd stated: “I was thinking, if I were an actor with that weight, then the day before, somebody called me up and said to me, ‘Hey, are you up !’…?

He was amazing. “He was full of energy and gave an amazing performance.”

The 82 year-old was joined by Doc Brown’s counterpart at the curtain call, and the two danced together towards the end of the evening.
