Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees his fortunes changing as Cristiano Ronaldo sets major Man Utd impacts

After a glance at the fixtures list, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may be exhaling with relief. This comes just days after Manchester United’s humiliating loss to Young Boys at the Champions League.

United has a favorable run of fixtures at their home which could allow Ronaldo to shine over the next few weeks.

It is the ideal antidote for Solskjaer after he lost to Young Boys in the Champions League.

To continue their terrible form under Norwegian guidance, the Swiss team defeated the Red Devils 2-1.

Ronaldo scored three goals for Portugal, making it two wins in a row. However, Aaron Wan Bissaka was red-carded and the match turned on its head.

The second half was dominated by Young Boys, who were far more impressive than their equaliser through Moumi Nagamaleu. United couldn’t even manage to get off their pitch.

Jesse Lingard, who was brought on to replace Ronaldo, attempted to pass lazy back to David de Gea his goalkeeper with 10 seconds remaining.

Theoson Siebatcheu, the red alert, was given the task of scoring past the Spaniard and giving Young Boys three points. This humiliated the Red Devils.

Solskjaer is under intense pressure to make his decisions, but is able to bounce back with some positive fixtures.

United will be playing at Old Trafford four more times over the five remaining games. West Ham away is the hardest opponent.

The Red Devils can win that match and will face the Hammers at home in the Carabao Cup.

They will be facing Aston Villa on 25 September before they host Villarreal in Champions League. Everton will then play that weekend.

Ronaldo feels this is an enormous boost, as Old Trafford is where he can truly come to life.

Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, he thrives on crowd energy – which will continue to be abundant upon his return.

Since the announcement about his return, United fans continue to sing his name and it will never stop.

Ronaldo is in great shape, and Solskjaer has the chance to make Solskjaer a footballing hero.

This means that the Red Devils will be hot favorites in the next five games, which should keep doubters away for at least another month.
