The UK has the lowest concentration of EU citizens living there since before Brexit.

From September 2019 to September 2020, the UK saw approximately 79 000 EU citizens leave. The ONS has figures that show thousands fled the UK in the wake of the pandemic.

The 2017 peak was 3.7 million.

According to the latest official figures, nearly 5,000,000 people were allowed to work and live in the UK as part of the EU Settlement program.

After the EU leaves, the EU Settlement Scheme allows EU residents and their families to stay in the UK.

The Home Office has revealed that more than 58,000 people applied to the EU Settlement Scheme in the month following June’s deadline.

From March 2019 through June 30, 2019, more than 6 million applications were received.

European workers can apply to the Settlement Scheme for access to different UK benefits and pensions.

EU citizens who are not residing in the UK since 2021 have been treated equally as other people around the globe.

Anyone who wants to reside and work in the UK must apply for the points-based system.

Anyone from the EU had the right to work in the UK when the UK became part of the EU.
