Transgender Day of Remembrance: Advocates honor lost lives in 2021, the deadliest year on record for U.S. trans community

According to the Human Rights Campaign, 2021 is already the deadliest year on record for transgender and gender-nonconforming people. Nearly all of the victims have been trans women of color.
