Ralf Rangnick has been granted his work permit to begin work as Manchester United’s new interim manager.
Since being appointed on Monday he has been waiting for the approval process to be completed.
All the necessary paperwork has now been completed, and Rangnick is now able to start the role.
He will be at Old Trafford on Thursday night where Michael Carrick will take charge of the first team for the final time tonight when they face Arsenal.
Rangnick will speak to the media for the first time in the role on Friday. His first match in charge will be against Crystal Palace on Sunday
