Storm Eunice has blown down a large street at Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash’s £1.2 million Essex home.
A red weather warning was issued across the UK on Friday 18 February as Storm Eunice threatened to bring winds of up to 90mph.
The Met Office expressed concerns that the extreme conditions could cause damage to buildings, uprooted trees, power cancellations and power cuts.
The warning read: “The Met Office has issued a rare Red Weather Warning as Storm Eunice is expected to bring extremely strong winds and continued disruption for much of the UK on Friday.
“The Red Weather Warning for wind covers southwest coastal areas of the UK, where the most significant gusts in exposed areas could be in excess of 90mph from early Friday morning.”
“Further inland and within the wider Amber Warning area, gusts will still be significant and damaging for many, with 70-80mph gusts possible,” it concluded.
Former EastEnders star Joe Swash documented the moment he chose to brave the winds as he went outside to assess the damage after a large tree at Pickle Cottage was uprooted as a result of the weather.
Talking to the camera as the wind could be heard roaring around him, Joe said: “This wind is unbelievable, look… we’ve already lost a tree.”

“What is going on?”, Joe added before branding the weather conditions as “madness”.
From the looks of the video, despite the tree being located near a car and an outhouse, it didn’t appear to have done any major damage to their property or caused any injuries.
Joe and fiancée Stacey are set to tie the knot at their stunning Essex home this summer after getting engaged in December 2020, but the pair sparked speculation that they may have already said their ‘I dos’ after the dad-of-three was spotted wearing a gold band on his wedding finger.
They had originally planned to tie the knot in 2021, but decided to move their nuptials after Stacey became pregnant with the couple’s daughter Rose, who was born in October last year.
Prior to getting married at Pickle Cottage, Stacey has been renovating their home – sometimes with the help of two year old Rex.
Apparently the tot expressed his desire to help his mum paint their kitchen so, instead of using a spray paint gun, the duo did some of the hard graft themselves.
