The Service of Thanksgiving was the Queen’s first major official engagement since travelling to Cardiff to deliver a speech at the Welsh Senedd on October 14, 2021.
The Queen and the Duke of York, who settled his sexual assault claim last month, entered the abbey vie Poets’ Corner in a small procession.
Prince Andrew was seated in the front row but across the aisle next to his younger brother Prince Edward.
The Duke of York accompanied the Queen out of the abbey when the service had concluded and they were pictured leaving together in a car.
