IRVINE, Calif. – The women’s tennis team will take the court first at the PacWest Conference Championships. They start on Wednesday at 9 a.m. out in Arizona against the Vulcans of Hawai’i Hilo as the No. 8 seed in the tournament. The Eagles swept the season series against Hilo winning 4-2 on the road, and winning 4-3 at Concordia.
CUI finished the season with an overall record of 8-13, but heads into the conference championships with a young and hungry group. There is no senior on the team for the Eagles which gives this trip to Arizona a chance for the players to gain valuable experience heading into next season.
